Track List

The track list provides not only a list of tracks in your project, but allows you to hide them completely from the project, the track control panel (TCP) or mixer control panel (MCP) separetely.

Note: The track list is only compatible with Reaper 3.0.

To open the track list, go to the Reaper View menu and select "Show SWS Tracklist".

Just click on the '*' next to the track name.  Ctrl-click track names to select multiples, or select a range with shift-click.  Alt-ctrl-click a * to show the selected tracks, and hide the rest.  Double click on a track to rename it, then press <Enter> to save your changes or <Tab> to name the next track.  You can sort by track #, name, or visibility by clicking on the appropriate column.  To filter track visibility by name, just start typing into the filter box.

If you want to save snapshots of the current track visibility, right click in the track list window.  Select the top option "Snapshot current track visibility". This will make the snapshot appear in the snapshots window (where you can rename it something useful) and also it will appear in the right click menu with that name.

Other actions are available from the right click menu for hiding/showing tracks in different ways, opening the standard track menu, inverting the selection, or docking the window.
